Hot Items To Look Out For at Big Texas Comicon - Toy and Tee

Cosplay of The Sisters (Karasu and Washi) from Kubo and the Two Strings
Everything is bigger in Texas, and Big Texas Comicon is no exception. Every year, tens of thousands of pop culture fans from all over the world descend on the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center to meet their favorite celebrities and creators and, of course, to shop for awesome pop culture merch. Toy and Tee will be setting up for the first time at this year's Big Texas Comicon event, and we plan on offering a variety of hot, must-have items for you to peruse. From exclusive merchandise to limited edition statues and products you don't see every day, here are some exciting new things Toy and Tee will be bringing to this year's event.
Exclusive Funko Pops
Probably to the surprise of no one, we, like many vendors, will be offering exclusive Pop Funko vinyls at our booth. Since we are relatively new to the Funko Pop game, our exclusives and chase Pops will be hot off the press. As we grow, we plan on including even more exclusives and rare Funko items, so be sure to check back with us online and at future events. Here are some Pop! exclusives and chases that we will have on hand at Big Texas Comicon this year (as supplies last).
Action Figures and Pops for Autographs
At this year's Big Texas Comicon, we will be making items available for autograph signing. The following is what we have confirmed for this event, but we may be bringing more talent items as we acquire stock.
Carey Jones
Carey Jones is made famous by The Book of Boba Fett's awesome wookie Black Krrsantan character, as well as his part in the film Predators (2010). We will be offering the Star Wars Black Series Black Krrsantan 6-inch figure from the Star Wars comic book series, as well as the NECA Ultimate Predator.
Irene Bedard
Irene Bedard is known for her amazing voice work on the Pocahontas animated films, including the original Pocahontas and the follow-up film, Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World. She also appears in the animated film Ralph Breaks the Internet. We will be offering Pocahontas Funko Pops at our booth.
James Arnold Taylor
James Arnold Taylor has voiced a multitude of incredible characters over the years, including favorites such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Leonardo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Darth Maul to name a few. We will be offering the Kotobukiya Star Wars Clone Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi ARTFX statue, Leonardo chase black and white Funko Pop, and the overly awesome Hasbro Star Wars Black Series Darth Maul Sith Apprentice figure (50th Anniversary edition).
Christopher Wehkamp
Shota Aizawa, or shall I say Christopher Wehkamp will be at the Big Texas Con this year as well. Christopher is an American voice actor who voiced Shota for FUNimation Entertainment's US production of My Hero Academia. His work has exploded in popularity over recent years, and we will be offering a cool Shota Aizawa Funko Pop at this event.
Our collection of sign-able figures may be small, but by the time this event rolls around, we hope to have a bunch more for you to check out. Stop by our booth and take a look.
Officially Licensed Backpacks
Toy and Tee are now carrying cool, officially licensed backpacks. Our backpacks will feature popular franchises such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, Pokemon, and anime franchises such as Demon Slayer. We plan on carrying an even larger assortment of backpacks at our brick-and-mortar store, which will be opening soon.
What sets these backpacks apart from others is their characterful design, especially the Boba Fett backpack which resembles his jet pack, and the Ewok backpack. Carrying this backpack will make you look like you have a pet Ewok on your back, which is highly nerdy, but also cool. These backpacks are highly stylized and truly stand out.

Cosplay Items
Cosplayers love Star Wars Black Series items (such as helmets and light sabers) as well as the Marvel Legends props. Such items have been a hit among shoppers at our previous convention booths, so we will be doubling down on these products for Big Texas Comicon.
Let's start by talking about our Star Wars Black Series mainstays, the Boba Fett, Bo-Katan, and Trapper Wolf electronic helmets (from the Mandalorian series). Each of these helmets, along with our other helmets (such as the popular Darth Vader Black Series helmet) are fully featured electronic helmets with obscene levels of detail.
Both the Boba Fett Re-armored helmet and the Bo-Katan helmet feature electronic lights and sounds, and with the press of a button, the rangefinder drops down, activating flashing LEDs. The attention to detail on these helmets is astonishing.

The Star Wars: The Mandalorian Black Series Trapper Wolf Electronic Helmet, which, like the helmets above, also features electronic lights and sounds, but with some interesting effects.
This helmet features internal speakers, with synchronized LED lights within the visor that simulates blaster fire and Carson Teva dialogue. Another interesting feature of this helmet is the two battle simulations available. There is a switch on the helmet that allows you to experience Trapper Wolf’s X-wing attack on Ranzar Malk’s station or the Mandalorian’s Razor Crest pursuit.
Perhaps the most awe-inspiring cosplay item we carry at conventions is the Star Wars Black Series Darksaber Force FX Elite Lightsaber from the Mandalorian. This item features a wide assortment of LED and sound effects, from the idle hum of a lightsaber, power on and off, as well as battle clash sound effects. The blade also features a variety of LED effects that reflect the blade being active (with a white, glowing edge), as well as molten effects, a light-up hilt, and more.
This item includes a blade stand which makes it an awesome, interactive item that is suitable for display or use.
Star Wars and Marvel Statues
If you want to add some prestige to your collection of movie and comic book collectibles, we will be offering several amazing statues. The standouts for this year's Big Texas Toy and Tee booth are the Beast Kingdom Nano Infinity Gauntlet, Beast Kingdom Egg Attack statues, the Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Milestones Statue (from Revenge of the Sith), and the Kotobukiya Marvel Loki ARTFX statue.
Let's start with this amazingly detailed Avengers: Endgame Nano Gauntlet MC-026 Master Craft Statue. Calling to the pinnacle scene of the movie, Iron Man's universe-saving snap with his infinity stone laced gauntlet, this statue is highly detailed and limited to only 3000 pieces.
This is a 1-to-1 scale replica that features LED light-up functionality. So this is more than a display piece, but is interactive as well.
We will also be stocked with Beast Kingdom Egg Attack action figures, in particular the Stormtrooper riding a Dewbach and the Deluxe Boba Fett. Beast Kingdom Egg Attack figures are premium quality action figures that are highly posable, with a detailed styling that features proportions similar to Funko Pops!
The Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Milestones statue is perhaps the coolest statue we will be offering at Big Texas this year, and is among the coolest statues we've ever offered. This intricately detailed, 1/6 scale statue is limited to only 1000 pieces and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
The level of detail on this statue is astonishing, making this a must-have for Obi-Wan fans and Star Wars high-end collectors.
And finally, we want to highlight this awesome Marvel Avengers Loki ARTFX statue. Featuring real fabric and realistic details, this Kotobukiya piece captures all of the mischievous charm of Loki in 18 1/2" scale.
The statues mentioned above will be available in very limited quantities, so be sure to find us at the show for your chance to nab these awesome collectibles. See you at Big Texas Comicon!
